Have you ever thought about what it was like for Moses to stand on Mount Sinai in the very presence of God and speak to Him face to face? Well, according to the above scripture that's what God wants for YOU. God is calling all His people to come into His presence. How do we get there? Psalm 100 gives us the answer to that question in verse 4, "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name." We are all called to enter His presence and the door is praise and worship.

My name is Scott Day and I'm on a mission to see people experience God's presence in a way that maybe they never have before. Currently I am the worship leader at Redeemer International Family Church in Frederick, Maryland where I've seen how God moves in a powerful way when He is being praised. Since He does move powerfully when His people praise Him, praise is something that needs to be expressed not just in a church building and not just on a Sunday mornings but wherever and whenever we can express it.

In August of 2003 I released my first CD entitled "You Were There" which is just the first step in constantly evolving plan of what God is calling me to do. Out of the experience of recording the CD The Scott Day Band came into existence. We are now "knocking on doors" to see which ones the Lord opens up to us. So far we've played concerts in churches, in city parks and in Christian coffeehouses. Everywhere we've played we have been extremely encouraged by the comments of the people who have told us how God touched them.

Enclosed you will find information about The Scott Day Band. I hope this will give you the necessary information you and your organization needs to determine if we can be of service to you and your ministry. We're available for a wide variety of functions. Of course we prefer bringing the whole band for an evening of praise, mixed with a good dose of entertainment and a lot of fun. But if it's a nice, quiet time of intimate worship you're looking for, I also do solo concerts with just my voice and guitar. Inside you'll also read about our "Worship (as it was meant to be) Seminar" which you could use to bring those you minister to and with into a deeper understanding of praise and worship. Also enclosed is a demo CD which contains a few tracks from the CD "You Were There". This will give you a taste of what our music sounds like.  Whatever form the ministry of The Scott Day Band takes on, as you'll see in the following pages, our heart is to lead people into God's presence through praise and worship.
