It's been a wild winter so far but stay strong, meteorological spring starts Monday. Break out the shorts!!!
It seems like forever since we've played a concert. Probably because it has been. We haven't played a concert since our Way Station concert back in November. With all the snow storms we've even had a hard being able to get together to practice.
That will all change over the next few weeks as we're playing more concerts than we typically do in a 2 week time frame.
This Saturday morning (2/27) we’ll be at the Saint Thomas More Academy in Buckeystown, MD from 9am until noon. We'll be setting up in the atrium of the school and taking part in their Family Fun Day which is just an opportunity for people to come and see the school. It's not the typical concert venue for us but it will be a good time of fun and give us the opportunity to shake off some of the rust. The school is located at 3989 Buckeystown Pike just about 2 miles south of Frederick.
Then this coming Sunday night (2/28) we'll be traveling to Gettysburg United Methodist in Gettysburg, PA for a 7PM concert which is part of their Sunday evening Lenten services. This will be our first time at Gettysburg UM which is located at 30 West High Street in downtown Gettysburg.
Then in 2 weeks, on March 14th, we'll once again kickoff the spring revival at Mayberry Church of God which is Tim's home church. I believe this is the 6th consecutive year we've kicked off their revival and it's always a great time. The concert will start at 6PM and the church is located at 2428 Mayberry Road between Taneytown and Westminster.
Though we have several other opportunities we're working on that's all we have on our upcoming schedule right now. So, if you or your organization has been thinking about having us in this is good time to get something set up.
Thanks again for your support, love and prayers. Come out and join us at one of our upcoming concerts.
Scott Day (for Christy, Cindi, Tim and Tony)
